This session I have browsed through the novel of The Last Days of Pompeii in order find an extract so I could begin the creation f an environmental sketch. I remembered a particular section which is related to Abraces and describes the temple of Isis and I was successful. found a detailed description in chapter four , page twenty-seven.
It mentioned an Ibis bird statue so browsed for images of an Ibis bird and the bird depicted in its hieroglyphic form. The reason behind this decision was so I could have a clear example of what to draw when I sketch the final hand rendering for the temple of Isis.Additionally, I have also sketched the rough anatomy for the Abraces turn around the character sheet. i must say I am satisfied and truly impressed so far with the coherence of height, width throughout each drawing of Abraces.
