Session Review
Travelled to the Worcester Library the Hive, today to start researching some commoner Victorian names in the 1800s. However the email that contained the link to the Charles Dickens book Little Dorrit was not received on that Wednesday lesson so I typed it manually and managed to successfully get to the eBook and see the chapters in the book, however it may be easier for me to look for the book in the library or buy it if need be.

So I started my secondary by found a few good names for my
character however the one that sounded well was the first name Marcus and I
then used a steam punk name generator to create the surname Davidson. Also this time I managed to find more informative
information on debtor’s prisons at the time including facts that debtors were
not allowed to do hard labor however may do so if they wish, which corrected
my previous statement on the first lesson on Wednesday saying that debtors had
to do hard labour to pay off debts. During the creation of my characters biography
I had found some good images as references and put them all in a mood board to
use for when I move on to drawing small concepts for Marcus Davidson.
The secondary research on the prisons in Victorian 1800s was
good sufficient enough for me to add more depth to my character especially the
site http://vcp.e2bn.org , which gave some
prisoner files and I used the way the files were structured to plan my
characters biography giving details such as place of birth , occupation , offense and eye and hair colors.
